Well, my motherboard doesn’t give me Vcore. It gives me 1.88, but it isn’t the voltage that I am actually using. I would really like to change that core voltage, but I can’t do that in BIOS. I am not sure if you can with most motherboards. But to change my Vcore, I would have to switch to the CPUZ-Windows tab.
This seems to be a hardware issue between the chipset and the CPU. I have an Asus motherboard with an nVidia chipset and the CPUZ worked fine. I thought perhaps it was caused by other issues in the BIOS so I disabled ACPI sleep and updated the BIOS to 1831. I updated the BIOS to 1612 on December 20th, and it still didn’t work. Finally I took the memory and CPU out and tested them separately to confirm the issue was limited to the chipset. It is fine.
CPUZ is a great application and it would be really great if it could use whatever the processor can do. For example, look at: https://www.krook.com/cpu-z-the-worlds-top-rated-computer-performance-benchmarker/
I just purchased an Asrock B450 motherboard with Asrock Fatal1ty X99 E-ATX 4 Way Cooler. Since B450 does not support XMP, I needed to purchase 2 new memory sticks. I upgraded the RAM and now CPUZ reports there is only 32 GB of RAM instead of 64 GB. There is no BIOS option to increase the RAM capacity to 64 GB. CPUZ has the option for increasing the size in KB. But CPUZ changed the reported memory size from 64 GB to 32 GB in KB. I had no option but to return them back and purchase 2 more ram sticks at cost of 64 GB.
I have a general question: I am running on my CPU a couple of node servers (8 core) with directvdr 5.0. Both my server and CPUz are from 2008. The server is still running, CPUz is not. Why is this? Do you still need the node server? I have 8 core CPUs, 8 core CPUs as well as the servers 8 core CPUs, would I experience problems with the software? One is Linux and the other is Windows. I am a computer engineer and not an IT specialist and have no idea about this. I have read the CPUZ Help section and checked the instruction for CPUZ. Just can’t figure out why it is running?

Recently I did a clean install of Windows 10 (build 14393) on my computer. Since the clean install I have had a bunch of programs crashing and I was finally able to pin point it to the problem to the software that was installed on my computer. I looked for the software and found out that it was cpuz. I then searched on Google to find more information about it and I found out that it is malware that can harm your system and that you should remove it. I uninstalled it but it seems that when I restart my computer the file is recreated again. I then tried the hard reset on my computer but that didn’t fix it. I have tried looking for a fix for the problem, but I am unable to find any for my problem.
A few tweaks have been made to the AMD Ryzen desktop processor performance graphs in CPUZ with respect to the APU benchmarks. The overclocking in particular has been expanded to include Intel’s rival high-end desktop (HEDT) processors. Both AMD’s and Intel’s desktop processors have been placed in three tiers: non-overclocked, mid-range, and high-end.
Another interesting thing is that you can check Lifetime CPUZ Version on other Windows computers, although you will need to download it. On the other hand, once you install it, you can run CPUZ on a variety of platforms. For example, on my main PC I’m able to run CPUZ on Windows 7 32-bit and Windows 10 64-bit, Windows 8.1 32-bit, Windows 10 16-bit, Windows 8.1 32-bit, and Ubuntu 18.04. Of course, I’m not using Windows 8.1 as my main OS, but I ran it for a while and it’s a nice alternative.
I also keep using CPUZ when I made my own modifications to the Zen or Ryzen chipsets for overclocking purposes. For example, I overclocked my Ryzen 5 1400 with Prime95 and posted the results on Reddit as well as on CPU World, thanks to the overclock support of CPUZ. I also use it for internal testing and benchmarks.

CPUZ New Version

D. Once we have copied the cpuz.exe file to our desired location, we need to right-click the new cpuz.exe file and select “Run As Administrator” to ensure that the updated cpuz.exe file is correctly executed when the system reboots.
Please note that we have found that the above steps can help resolve more than half of the cpuz.exe error messages that our users encounter on a regular basis. However, it is vital that you follow these steps cautiously, so that you do not accidentally replace your actual CPU-Z files and corrupt your system.
CPU-Z is a free utility that graphically displays your hardware’s specifications, components, and thermals.
